Maria a Funambule cow was purchased
in October 1980 for 2800gns with her
heifer calf Hartside Rebecca at foot.
Maria now has 35 relatives in the herd
principally from three of her daughters Hartside
Rebecca, Ronick
Supersally and Ronick
Toffee.
Hartside Rebecca bred
principally bulls for example Ronick Jecc
who was sold for 4200gns in October 1985.
One of her few daughters Ronick Annie has
bred exceptionally well in the herd with
progeny including:
- Ronick Dauphine,
a Talent daughter, has sold sons to a
top of 4500gns in June 1997 for Ronick
Murphy. Dauphine is also the mother of
Ronick Flair now owned by WI & AW
Callion. Flair has bred a number of show
winning females namely Ronick Helsa (by
Ronick Gains) who was 1st in her class
at the Highland Show in 1994 and part
of the winning interbreed team, another
daughter Lodge Radiant also by Ronick
Gains has won 1st in her class at the
Highland Show in 2002, 2003 and 1st in
her class at the Royal Show 2003.
- Ronick Fidget, another Talent daughter,
has sold bulls to a top of 6300gns for
Ronick Lodger in October 1996. One of
her grand daughters Ronick Upstage is
included in the show team for 2004.

Harvest Olympus is dam of Ronick Elma by Talent. Ronick Elma is dam of Ronick
Member who was sold to Bob and Drew Adam initially
for 10,500gns in October 1997. He has since
been sold on and is now jointly owned by
Ian Nattress and James Cooper. Sons of
Ronick Member have sold to a top of 18,000gns
for Greenwell Ronick.

Rascal is dam of Ronick Essence, a Talent
daughter who has bred a number of high-priced
bulls and females:
- Ronick Hoadley a
Broadmeadows Cannon son was sold in February
1994 for 5800gns.
- Ronick Icepop a
Gaspard daughter was sold with calf at
foot privately to RH Leonard Ltd.
- Ronick Respect a
Broadmeadows Cannon son was Champion
at Carlisle in May 2002 and was sold
for 9000gns.
